Bourns introduces new environmental pressure sensor

The BP125 pressure sensor features high sensitivity and stability, with a total error band (TEB) of 1.5%FS and a lifetime drift of 0.5%FS over a temperature range of 0°C to +60°C (six-sigma process). The BPS125 features I2C data output and is available with 250Pa and 500Pa calibrations, helping to minimize system calibration requirements and support system operation.
According to MWC reports, Bourns, a world-renowned leader in electronic component manufacturing and supply, recently announced a new environmental pressure sensor: BPS125, offering ultra-low pressure sensing capabilities. The BPS125 pressure sensor is based on MEMS technology and provides high-precision performance in a miniature package size. The sensor is designed for space-constrained 3.3V digital systems, accurately measuring pressure in the range of 250Pa to 500Pa, and the pressure value is read through a digital communication interface after amplification and calibration.
The new model from Bourns provides fully calibrated and compensated data output, helping to reduce processor workload and eliminate the need for A/D conversion, while providing long-term stability to ensure reliable repeatability. The feature combination provided by the BPS125 pressure sensor also helps to improve the performance and efficiency of end-product applications, making it a widely ideal solution for industrial, consumer, and low/medium-risk medical designs, including portable oxygen concentrators, nebulizers, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) respirators, spirometers, and gas chromatographs.
