On December 3, 2021, Riyue Technology, the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences Anhui Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, and Bengbu University jointly signed an agreement in Bengbu to establish the "Intelligent Sensing Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Alliance." The agreement establishes a long-term and comprehensive strategic partnership for industry-academia-research cooperation among the three parties, forming a joint development entity.
Riyue Technology General Manager Chen Dang, Hefei Institutes of Physical Science Science and Technology Development Office Director Deng Guoqing, and Bengbu University President Ding Ming signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement on behalf of the three parties. Bengbu University Party Secretary Chen Guolong, Vice President Zheng Guifu, and others witnessed the signing ceremony. The three parties have reached a preliminary cooperation intention on the key technology research of optical fiber sensing stress and strain measurement, aiming to develop various types of optical fiber sensing core devices and platforms based on Internet of Things technology and reliability theory. These will comprehensively cover various scenarios of structural safety detection, including various types of bridges, tunnels, landslides, urban underground engineering, and large-scale equipment or buildings in cities. If this project is successfully industrialized and promoted, it is expected to effectively reduce the significant economic losses and losses of life and property caused by engineering accidents.
In the future, the three parties will jointly build the "Intelligent Sensing Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Alliance." Using projects as a link, core capabilities as a thread, and product development as a foundation, the three parties will carry out comprehensive and in-depth cooperation in scientific research platform construction, major technological breakthroughs, technological achievements transformation, teacher training, and talent cultivation. They will explore the formation of a new model of industry-academia-research collaborative development where industry, research and development, professional fields, and talent mutually promote and flexibly apply, providing intellectual support and talent support for the development of the local electronic information industry and the construction of "Sensor Valley."
