Overview
The SM46D series tension sensors are designed for measuring a wide range of static or dynamic tensile forces. Especially in harsh field working environments where durability and technical reliability are highly demanded, this product can be designed according to general standards and non-standard customized designs to meet the needs of various applications, such as various crane scales and overload protection devices.
If the machinery has special shape or interface requirements for the tension sensor, our company can design and customize it according to the requirements. The SM46D series tension sensors are equipped with standard current interfaces, CAN bus interfaces, or wireless sensor network interfaces.

Measurement Principle
A ring-shaped strain gauge sensor utilizes the elastic deformation of an elastomer under external force, causing a change (increase or decrease) in the resistance value of the strain gauge bonded to its surface. This resistance change is then converted into an electrical signal (voltage or current) by a corresponding measuring circuit, thus completing the force measurement process.
