SM39PWB-CYCZ side-mounted differential pressure sensor

The SM39PWB-CY differential pressure transmitter is used to measure the level, density, pressure, and flow rate of liquids, gases, or steam, and then converts it into a 4mA~20mADC HART current signal output. It can also communicate with a HART handheld terminal for parameter setting and process monitoring.

Standard Specifications

The range is calibrated based on the standard zero point, using 316L stainless steel diaphragm, filled with silicone oil)

Range Limit

 

It can be adjusted arbitrarily within the upper and lower limits of the range.

 

It is recommended to choose a range code with the lowest possible range ratio to optimize performance characteristics. Zero Point Setting

The zero point and span can be adjusted to any value within the measurement range in the table, as long as: calibrated span ≥ minimum span

 

 

Installation Position Influence

 

Changes in the installation position parallel to the diaphragm surface will not cause zero drift. If the installation position changes more than 90° from the diaphragm surface, a zero offset within the range of <0.4kPa will occur, which can be corrected by adjusting the zero point. There is no span influence.

Two-wire, 4mA~20mADC, optional HART digital communication output, selectable linear or square root output. Output signal limits: I min =3.9mA,I max =20.5mA

Response Time

 

The damping constant of the amplifier component is 0.1s ; the sensor time constant is 0.1s ~1.6s This depends on the measuring range and the range ratio. The additional adjustable time constant is: 0.1s~60s. The effect on non-linear outputs (such as square root function) depends on the function and can be calculated accordingly.
