The SM36WD angular displacement sensor is designed for well position feedback and angle detection in beam pumping units. It integrates high-performance wireless sensor technologies, including ultra-low power ZigBee & WIA-PA communication, tilt sensors, and low-power microcontrollers. Its high reliability design for industrial environments, high accuracy, simple installation, easy maintenance, and environmentally friendly durability have earned user recognition. It has been widely promoted and applied in major oil fields across China, including Shengli, Daqing, Huabei, Changqing, Xinjiang, and Qinghai.

Description Overview

The SM36WD angular displacement sensor is designed for well position feedback and angle detection of beam pumping units. It integrates micro-power ZigBee&WIA-PA communication, tilt sensor, and low-power microcontroller technologies into a high-performance wireless sensor product. It is one of the important front-end acquisition devices in the construction of the Internet of Things for digital oilfield oil and gas production. It synchronously measures the beam angle of the beam pumping unit with the SM34/35 series wireless load sensor, and transmits the data remotely through the local wireless data communication network, realizing the remote measurement of the power curve data characterizing the working condition of the beam pumping unit well.

Adaptability The high reliability design for industrial environments, as well as its high precision, simple installation, easy maintenance, environmental protection and durability, have won user recognition, and have been promoted and applied in major oilfields in China, including Shengli, Daqing, Huabei, Changqing, Xinjiang, and Qinghai.

Low Battery

When the battery voltage is lower than 2.9V low battery alarm indication; sleep cycle ends, battery voltage detection is triggered; to ensure measurement accuracy, please replace the battery in time.

 

 


 

Installation

  1. Configure well name, well field configuration (with RTU build a local wireless data communication network).
  2. Professionals should directly attach the sensor to the beam surface directly above the beam bearing seat, following the direction indicated by the "Installation Direction Arrow." The "Installation Direction Arrow" should point towards the "donkey head" and be parallel to the beam.
  3. Immediately conduct a work diagram test at the well site using the company's matching test software. Refer to the SM series digital wireless sensor operation manual for specific methods.

 


Precautions

  1. If the angular displacement sensor is not used for a long time, please disconnect the battery or set the measurement type to deep sleep mode. Restore it when using.
  2. If any problems occur during the use of the product, please contact our technical service personnel in time; do not disassemble the sensor yourself, otherwise, the warranty will be void!
  3. The battery pack used in this sensor is an explosion-proof certified product provided by our company. If you replace it with other battery packs not provided by our company, our company cannot continue to guarantee the explosion-proof performance of this product, and we will not be responsible for any risks and consequences!
  4. Please familiarize yourself with the SM series digital wireless sensor operation manual before performing on-site debugging operations.
