2018 Spring Festival Message
(February 16, 2018, the first day of the Lunar New Year of the Dog)

The old year has passed, and the new year has arrived. Wishing you brilliant achievements and a prosperous year, and wishing our employees a bright future and continuous progress!
Riyue welcomes its 30th Spring Festival. This is a joyous occasion for all Riyue people. Happy holidays to everyone! Riyue has successfully passed through 30 years, which is the result of the joint efforts of all Riyue people. Over the past 30 years, we have paid 23.81 million yuan in taxes to the state, making a direct contribution to the national treasury. Riyue's products serve two major fields nationwide, both of which are domestically leading and internationally advanced. Among them, there are 158 patented products. We have always ranked first in every bidding. This is the honor and pride of Riyue people!
Riyue's tenet: To serve users, contribute to society, and benefit employees (see "The Riyue Path", Volume 2, page 11, and "Riyue Outline"). On May 18, 1999, the fourth day of the fourth month of the lunar calendar in the year of the Rabbit, I inscribed at the opening ceremony of Riyue Xiaotaiyang Kindergarten: Caring for Riyue employees is caring for the future of Riyue! This should be the motto of all Riyue people and leaders at all levels. Remember the oath at the daily morning meeting: The user is God, the employee is the Bodhisattva, strive for excellence every day, I am important! Unity leads to prosperity, division leads to ruin! Caring for Riyue employees is not pampering, but setting high standards and strict requirements to make them first-class talents, so that Riyue can become a first-class enterprise!
1. Be extremely cautious in protecting Riyue's confidential information! Riyue's brand reputation is getting better and better in the domestic market, attracting great attention from our peers. Some people, under the guise of user inspections, try to steal Riyue's technical and business secrets. Our people treat them like gods, accompanying them to eat, drink, and tour, answering all their questions without reservation. They are afraid that the other party will say they are ignorant. In this way, the foundation we have accumulated over 30 years has been easily stolen by others. It's like the saying goes, you are being sold and you are still helping to count the money?
2. Due to the expansion of various risks in the economic and social environment, the operating costs of the entire economy will increase. The risks of aging are borne by enterprises, namely social security contributions, leading to increased enterprise costs; the risks of environmental pollution are absorbed internally by enterprises, also leading to increased enterprise costs. Thus, we have entered an era of high costs, which is actually consistent with the era of high risks. We should pay close attention to this.
Sales in 2017 decreased by 37.196% compared to 2016, which actually resulted in losses and is being sustained by loans. We must achieve profitability!
3. In identifying and employing people, we must adhere to the principle of selecting and appointing talented people, avoiding generalizations, upholding public opinion, and avoiding emotional decisions, creating a truly objective and fair employment environment, giving more opportunities to those who are down-to-earth, hardworking, and not causing trouble. However, some leaders, as long as they like someone, will trust them unconditionally, believing that if they say they can do it, they can, even if they can't. They will use them no matter what, even ignoring their shortcomings. They are also particularly kind to those recommended or close to them; but once they have a prejudice against someone, they will leave no room, even because of a word or an incident, they will resolutely refuse to use them, saying that if they say they can't do it, they can't, even if they can. They will suppress even those close to them... cliques, favoritism, and unfair employment.
4. Resolutely eliminate those who are disloyal, dishonest, and two-faced towards Riyue; severely hold accountable those who talk big but do little.
5. Running a business is like fighting a war. At any time, we cannot forget flexible strategic and tactical maneuvers, we cannot make dogmatic mistakes, and we cannot make bookish mistakes.
6. There is no such thing as a free lunch. If farmers don't farm, just sit at home and count their fingers, they will never grow rice; similarly, high wages are earned through hard work. Some people are lazy and shirk their responsibilities at work, arriving later than anyone else and leaving earlier than anyone else. When asked to go on business trips, they haggle over prices, and when asked to work overtime, they immediately ask for overtime pay... Such people in Riyue only have two choices: the first is to accept Riyue's culture, restrain themselves, obey, be dedicated, responsible, and professional, without any excuses, and resolutely complete the tasks; the second is to leave and seek other opportunities!
7. Riyue people must believe in Riyue, believe in Riyue culture, believe in the Riyue path, unite and forge ahead, and walk the Riyue path well. Unwaveringly implement the military style, fighting spirit, and iron discipline! Strengthen discipline, revolution will be invincible! This was the revolutionary slogan during the war years, and it is still practical today!
Riyue's reward and punishment regulations strictly prohibit Riyue employees from taking on part-time jobs outside. However, some people earn money by working as night security guards in the community, while they are listless and idle at work during the day. Such people should know their place; they can only choose one!
8. Improve quality, efficiency, and motivation, comprehensively improving quality from goals and systems to specific work details; we must work to eliminate various obstacles that hinder efficiency improvement, allowing the market to play a decisive role in resource allocation; we must strengthen technological innovation, promote innovation incentives, create an environment conducive to innovation, and vigorously cultivate a group of leading figures with innovative capabilities.
Quality is the starting point of value and dignity. Only by continuously improving quality, focusing on high quality, focusing on customers, and focusing on innovation can we truly achieve the goal of bringing quality to the world.
9. Some people are above the system, replacing the system with human relationships, and replacing the rule of law with the rule of man, being inactive, slow, reckless, and chaotic... Some leaders treat year-end awards as a way to give favors, seriously undermining the enthusiasm of some employees...
10. Some people are excited when listening to experts' lectures, speak vividly, but do nothing; even worse, they only like to point fingers, pick faults, and find problems...
Facing Riyue's growth, what should we do? Growing with Riyue is the best choice. It means going through the hardships and journeys of growth with Riyue, working hard and diligently; it means experiencing the twists and pains of growth together, facing various contradictions, problems, and difficulties together; sharing the glory of Riyue's development, showing more understanding and support, less complaints and accusations, less ridicule and sarcasm.
If Riyue is good, Riyue employees will be good. Growing with Riyue, our minds, vision, realm, and pattern will grow accordingly!
11. Triple Confirmation before Leaving. We have many meeting rooms, but no one is specifically responsible for managing them. We can only rely on our self-discipline. When the meeting ends, before getting up to leave, we must do three confirmations.
(1) Confirm that there are no forgotten items;
(2) Confirm whether there is any scattered garbage. If so, put it in the trash can or take it away with you;
(3) Confirm whether used items such as chairs have been returned to their original positions.
12. Riyue should cultivate and select good cadres for the new era. Selecting and using the right people is of paramount importance, a key issue concerning the rise and fall of Riyue. We must adhere to the principle of both moral character and ability, prioritizing moral character, and focus on performance, achievements, and evaluating individuals based on their accomplishments. We should assess whether they can act decisively, be bold in exploration, and take responsibility during critical moments; and whether they can proceed step by step, achieve lasting results, and ensure a successful start and finish during challenging periods. We must truly cultivate and select good cadres with strong work styles, capable of fighting tough battles, and who are trusted by the company and satisfy employees.
Effectively incentivize advanced individuals, urge those lagging behind, promote the mobility of cadres, and establish a clear orientation of promoting the competent, removing the incompetent, and eliminating the inferior. Truly transform cadre personnel resources into development resources, and transform activities of innovation into productive forces.
We advocate self-reliance and hard work. We need external assistance, but ultimately, we must rely on ourselves. Only in this way can Riyue achieve sustainable development. However, some people strongly promote outsourcing as cheaper than our own processing, which is simply a daydream to deceive fools. If this were true, it means that the labor hour standards are incorrect and must be corrected immediately! Do not be lazy or neglect your duties!
Regarding this award, whether we win or lose, worrying about gains and losses wastes time. Just do what needs to be done. Winning is better, losing is nothing. Let's walk the long march of Riyue, harmonious win-win is the vicissitudes of life!
