2019 Spring Festival Message

The Science and Technology Park bids farewell to the old year, safeguarding peace and achieving fruitful results. People of Riyue welcome the New Year, working together for further achievements! Fight for 2019, achieve poverty alleviation and wealth creation soon! Success doesn't come easily, a happy life is earned through hard work!
2018 was indeed very difficult. Cash flow was interrupted three times. Firstly, the payment terms for goods were set at six months. Even with patience, the return was a promissory note with a maturity of another six months or a year, making the payment cycle twelve or eighteen months. The longer the cycle, the higher the cost. Even worse, some customers who owed money went bankrupt, resulting in bad debts. Secondly, there were quality issues with our products, ranging from replacements and repairs to unconditional returns and compensation. Thirdly, our product supply was not timely, resulting in contract breaches and fines. We faced customer complaints almost every month, many of which remain unresolved. Some products that should have been delivered in 2018 are still outstanding. Our responsible leaders have become numb, believing that too many lice don't bite. They appear to be proactive, but in reality, they are inactive. Fourthly, there were internal issues, with people secretly embezzling everyone's hard-earned money. Despite everyone's hard work, we ended up with a loss of five million yuan... We overcame all this, which is worth celebrating.
2019 may be even more difficult. We need to be mentally prepared, learn from our experiences, and reorganize ourselves. We need to reorganize our talent, organization, funds, and investment philosophy. We need to be vigilant and eliminate internal issues... The boss's strategy is to make good judgments and decisions about the future; the tactics are organizational and execution capabilities. Every workshop, department, team, group, and employee must perform their duties, be courageous, and take responsibility.
In 2018, we spent a lot of time and money training middle managers in Hefei and Shanghai, with minimal results. In 2019, we will spend more time training employees. Each department should organize training, learning with problems in mind, applying what is learned, prioritizing urgent needs, and achieving immediate results. We need to improve employee capabilities and quality. Strong employees make a strong Riyue! Riyue employees are the solid foundation of Riyue and the confidence to overcome difficulties! Like Yang Shunli, an outstanding Riyue employee, who has been working in the Shengli Oilfield office for several years without returning; and Zhang Zhuanhua, the sales champion of the oilfield team, who won first place in bidding in several major oilfields. These are the pride of Riyue people and the highlights of Riyue. On this new journey, no matter the challenges, as long as we work together, uphold self-reliance, independent innovation, and hard work, with unwavering confidence, a sense of urgency, and perseverance, step by step, we will surely advance the cause of Riyue! We must not abandon the spirit of hard work and thrift, and the policy of energy conservation and emission reduction must not change. Turn off lights when not needed, and don't turn them on unnecessarily. Turn off the taps, and don't let water run continuously...
Riyue needs to grow and become stronger, but first, we must do well! Starting now, let's be down-to-earth, avoid blaming others, and strive to be better. Every task we handle should have a result, feedback, and explanation. Let's truly turn customer complaints into customer praise, so that we have achievements to discuss during our annual evaluations, and Riyue employees will truly feel a sense of purpose at Riyue!
